New Accessory: Optic Magnifier For The MC8900, MC8200 & MC9900

For when you really need to see up close. The Optic Magnifier was first introduced on our top-of-the-line Horizon Memory Craft 12000. This adjustable magnifying glass was the best, hands-free way to see the tiniest detail under the needle.

Now there's an Optic Magnifier made just for the Memory Craft 9900 embroidery machine, and the Memory Craft 8900 and 8200 quilting machines.

When you attach this specially designed lens to your machine, you can view items in the needle area with 1.5x magnification. You simply snap it onto the machine when you want to use it and then tilt or swung it out of the way when you're done.

Attaching the Optic Magnifier is very simple and involves the same steps as attaching the MC12000 AcuView Magnifier.

How To Attach The AcuView Magnifier

  1. Place the AcuView Magnifier in position under the holder on the front of the machine.
  2. Align the upper prong with the reception location for the magnifier.
  3. Push up to click the magnifier in place.

Now it's ready to use.

To see this demonstrated watch the video How To Attach The AcuView Magnifier.

The Optic Magnifier is one of many innovative features that are making the new Memory Craft sewing, quilting and embroidery machines everyone's favorite. To get the Optic Magnifier for your machine, visit your authorized Janome dealer.

Not As Pictured- False advertising- No Drop-Down Box to Choose

Posted by MR on Apr 27th 2020

The picture and description of this item is not clear. I was disappointed to receive a single magnifier when the photo actually shows three in a blister pack. There is no option to choose the magnification request so one thinks you’re getting them all. This is all it says: “Available in 3 magnification levels - 20x, 40x, 60x(pictured). This is false advertising as there is no drop down box to pick out the magnification you require. Otherwise, all three should be in the blister pack. Additionally, the website says $21.99 when in fact I was charged $23 and some change. plus shipping.
