The Miele Complete Motor is a Genuine Miele 1200 vortex suction replacement motor that fits many late model Miele canister models: including the C3, M1, S8, S6, S5, CX1 Blizzard, C2HF, and other C2 Limited Edition models with covered tool storage.
Miele recommends you change the Electronic Unit if you're replacing the motor.
Before replacing anything, I suggest you check the continuity and wiring harness connectors to ensure you have continuity. Burnt wiring harnesses may need to be replaced. If there's no continuity in the cord from the plug to the harness, you'll need to replace the cord reel. If you have cord continuity and the connector are clean, it's likely an electronic unit failure.

This is the most common Electronic unit. You may want to forward your model number so I can confirm it is the correct part. Soft carpet, Uniq, or Brilliant models may take a different unit. Your model number will be on the ID plate on the bottom of your vacuum. It will be SGFE0, as in the description listed for this EU below. Please let me know if you have any questions.
