The Miele S7/U1 Brushroll Motor (Genuine OEM Part #7252360 or #07252360) is a secondary 120V AC motor located inside the powerhead nozzle of Miele upright vacuum cleaners. It is specifically responsible for spinning the carpet brush agitator roll to provide deep cleaning capabilities.
If your vacuum turns on but the brushroll refuses to spin, makes a grinding sound, or has completely seized, this component typically needs to be replaced. Note that replacing it requires moderate mechanical skills.
