Miele SES130 Electric Hose Kit includes a coversion Electronic Unit that must be installed in the machine to accomodate the new SES130 Hose.

Part #10073615 is your Miele Capricorn S5981 Deluxe Electric Hose Replacement Hose Kit. This kit includes the complete hose. The new  Electronic Unit (circuit board) is paired with the new hose. The Electronic unit requires installation into the canister vacuum chassis. There are 2 different Capricorn Vacuum Cleaners, the older model is Grey and the newer one is Purple. Both require this kit when the hose needs replacement. The Electronic Unit provided must be installed within the vacuum cleaner control panel. If you're not able to perform the installation, you may want to take your Miele to an authorized Miele repair center to get this handled.
