The Miele SES115 electric hose is used to supply electricity from the motor to drives the brush roll when using a SEB 226, SEB 236 or SEB 217-2 Powerbrush on the S344i Platinum, S444i White Pearl or S334i Ambiente Canisters as well as some earlier canisters. The SES115 hose mates with the SET 210 or SET 220 stainless steel telescopic wands with the internal wiring. The electric hose has an ergonomic rounded handle to hold when using the vacuum cleaner. This enables you to easily the handle with minimal bending of the wrist, reducing stress and fatigue to your lower arm. A fingertip rocker switch allows you to stop the powerbrush motor for cleaning bare floors like hardwoods, linoleum, or tile.
All Miele vacuum cleaners that utilize this hose automatically make the proper electrical connections when the hose is connected to the vacuum cleaner canister. A swivel mechanism built into the hose connector in the lid allows for ultimate maneuverability while cleaning. Newer models that have the swivel built into the hose end use the the SES 118 Electric Hoses.
